Learn the techniques of customer segmentation, customer interviews, as well as other customer research methods.
Segment your target customer base and conduct in-depth customer interviews to identify multiple customer segments with strong pain points that need to be solved. Between one and three rounds of interviews will be conducted each day, with a minimum of 10 interviews per round. A minimum of five rounds with a combined total of at least 50 interviews will be finished by the end.
Learn how to design a proper landing page experiment, how to target online acquisition channels (mainly social media and paid channels), how to create a pricing strategy and test pricing plans.
Learn brand and product positioning, methods for coming up with a good name and purchasing or acquiring a good domain name, how to design a professional logo and color palette, as well as create a strong value proposition, tagline, and product pitch.
Leveraging learnings from the previous week, you will launch landing pages to validate potential solutions, customer acquisition channels, product features, and pricing. Multiple iterations of at least 3 solutions will be tested and at least 3 channels will be tested per solution. The winning solution will have at least 50 sign-ups for a paid plan of at least $9/ month.
Learn how to effectively utilize Twitter’s Bootstrap front-end framework and open source development frameworks including Phoenix, Ruby on Rails, and React Native. Create a product prioritization roadmap to be updated on a weekly basis based on customer feedback.
Learn from examples of successful application UI and UX paradigms. Research and create a Product Teardown of a comparable application to what you expect to develop. Finally, wireframe the frontend UI and UX for your first MVP.
